Also she and I are circumspect for Hank's sake, thank you. He was there, no sense rubbing his nose in it.

She was a long time ago. We've been broken up for a while. She's back in Gotham.

Her name's Barbara. We were close for a while.

No. We haven't been for a lot of years.

Like more than I think we can. I'm not giving up what I do. I've learned that. It would have meant losing you and Rachel, for one.

I don't know if that is what she wanted. I left before things could get to that.

She stayed on as Batgirl and things didn't go well after that.

i mean you left for like a year, and you were trying to leave robin behind
before you met rachel

why weren't you with her then?

We didn't see eye to eye about a lot of things. Including Bruce.

After I left, she was injured and had to retire the uniform. We just haven't talked in a long time.

Of course I do. I'm just not sure we can be good for one another.

so why do you think there hasn't been anyone serious since then?

Because I've been too busy making a life for myself outside of Gotham and not really in a position where I can let anyone in.

And then I met Rachel and you know how my life changed since then.

i'm just saying, maybe it's okay to let people in
like maybe not to a secret identities and titans tower level, but

This place kind of ruins secret identities and all. Even if I refuse to just be entirely open about that.
