Yesterday's was way worse. Like, maybe the worst I've seen. I know they were punishing that one guy, the dom. But what about the two other people, what did THEY do? Not that any crime deserves punishment like the city likes to hand out.

Anyway. Mine was mild by comparison.

And thank you. I was named after my bio mom. She died before me and my sister were born.

and my best friend is a witch, kind of.

Wow. There's doppelgangers back home, but I don't think there are actual clones.

So maybe this won't be completely weird sounding to you. My bio-mom was killed while pregnant with me and Lizzie. That's my sister, though that's probably obvious. The coven that she was kinda sorta but not really anymore involved with performed a spell that transferred the two of us from bio-mom to our mom.

[ she'll just leave out that her bio-mom's family led the coven, that her psycho uncle murdered the original josette on her wedding day, and that mom is a vampire. ]

I was about to ask. Cause, you know. Text. Can't really hear a tone with it. And it is awesome. I'm biased, but that's better than not having the chance to be anything.

We are. Witches, I mean. The coven isn't much of a coven anymore. It's just us.

does having a coven make you stronger? my friend doesn't have one, she's just herself. i mean she has all of us, but we're not witches. honestly, i don't know if she needs anyone else.

Well, I can't say for sure for her. Magic might work differently where you're from. But, yeah. Sorta. Groups of witches together can do more powerful things. Each witch giving some of her magic, going toward a common goal.

It can be. Or it can be a disaster. Just because clashing personalities, etc etc.

It's... weird? I don't know that it's necessarily hard. It's hard to be away from my sister. We both arrived here, then she was sent home a few months later.
